Iroko Worktops
Iroko wood derives from large, hardwood trees from the west coast of tropical Africa and is known by its species name as Milicia excelsa. It has a yellowish to golden colour which tends to darken over time. Iroko worktop is highly durable and easy to work with.

How it's used?
Iroko wood is widely used for its durability and is highly resistant to decay making it a popular choice for all sorts of internal and external uses. It is commonly found as a wood of choice for flooring, cabinetry, boatbuilding and small decorative wooden items.

Why Iroko?
We recommend this wood for both its durability and its smart appearance, resembling teak in colour and in the pattern of grain. Iroko worktops are light brown to a deep golden brown in appearance and work well in all types of kitchen styles.

We use A Grade Iroko worktops wood, top quality 40mm staves and our worktops are available in: Length - 2, 3 and 4 metres Width - 650mm and 950mm

Price per linear metre. 3 coats of Danish Oil applied on both sides of the worktops. Please note, a final coat of oil is required to be be applied after installation. We strongly recommend that an extra tin of oil should be ordered.
